|
Pigment Binders: A range of products are offered with an emphasis on small particle size.
Pigment Co-binders: Products to use as alternatives to either natural binders or thickeners. Gloss Additives: Acrylic emulsion polymers with a range of gloss transition Temperatures (Tg).

Size Press Addition
Products have been developed for two types of size press applications:
Starch Modifiers: Styrene-acrylic emulsions with varying Tg, cationic styrene acrylics, and solution styrene acrylics have been developed for use as additives to starch.
Pigmented Size Press Coatings: Several binders are offered for this demanding application.

Digital Printing
For digital printing, new polymers are continuously being developed. Our goal is to provide you with more tools to achieve excellent print quality as capabilities and equipment continue to improve.

 |
Ink Jet Coating: Cationic, nonionic, and anionic products are
used in the numerous coated paper grades designed for ink jet printing.
Xerographic: Styrene-acrylics are used in the production of the many papers used for laser printing and xerographic printing. Our emulsion polymers can be used in the size press and pigment binder applications to produce these grades.
Indigo Printing: Both cationic and anionic Styrene-acrylics are used in coated grades developed for this type of printing.

Saturation
To produce paper grades with special end use performance, ask us about the many products we make for this process. The emulsion polymers used are dependent on the final functional properties desired.
Wet End Addition
Cationic emulsion polymers can be used as additives or at high levels. Additives may contribute to the control of the overall wet end operation. Higher levels contribute to the desired final end-use properties of the finished product.
